.: Abraham :.
The LORD had said to Abram, “GO from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
So Abram went, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran. 5 He took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Harran, and they set out for the land of Canaan, and they arrived there.
Genesis 12:1, 4-5

.: Moses :.
The LORD said [to Moses], “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. […] And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, GO. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
Exodus 3: 7, 9-10

.: The two disciples :.
After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them, “GO to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it.’”
Luke 19: 28-31

.: Stephanie :.
Last November while I was on my Race, I went on a coffee date with my squad leader Elva in Morocco. We were excitedly talking about what God had next for her. Halfway through our conversation, God unexpectedly dropped these couple of words in my spirit: “G42! GO!” With these two words came this overwhelming feeling that whatever it is that I am looking for and needed, it would be at G42.

The next few minutes became a blur. I couldn’t tell you what Elva said me during that time even if my life depended on it. It took everything in me to get myself together and to not show her that God just rocked my world with a revelation. I chose to not tell her because I needed to talk to God about it more later. I needed Him to confirm this again because going to G42 didn’t make sense to me.

Thus, when Elva asked me what I thought was next for me, I simply shared with her that I was only sure of two things:
1. Whatever is next, I want it to play a key role to my calling in life, and
2. By February 2018, I have a strong feeling that I will no longer be in the States.

I completely forgot about this conversation until the very last week of January when I received my G42 acceptance email. Not only was I accepted to the school, I was also offered to come earlier and join the March 2018 because a couple of spots had opened up. As I prayed over what to do, God put two and two together and told me: “Remember that conversation with Elva in Morocco? Remember the incomprehensible sense of peace that came with the thought of not being in the States past February? Well, this is it! This is why!”

.: It took a minute… :.
When God first told me about G42 in Morocco, I wish I could say I immediately followed His instructions like Abraham did and applied to G42 right away. Instead, just like Moses in Exodus 3 and 4, I had a lot of “What if” or “Suppose I do this…, will you…?” or “Suppose I do this, how can I…??” questions for God. Questions for days!!!

So yeahhh….it took me a minute. But eventually, I did it. On February 12th, I purchased a one-way ticket to Spain. On March 1st, I got on a plane without looking back. And I am stoked to say that I get to call Mijas, Spain home for 6 months this year.

.: Soooooo … :.
